Help a child start the school year right!
The Support Our Troops, Nigeria ‘Back to School Drive’ is one of the many programmes set up by the foundation to support over 10,000 children in some 75 military schools. The ‘Back to School Drive’ aims to help children from military families succeed by providing the basic necessities they need, and in some cases provide full scholarships for children of wounded and fallen troops.
Support our Troops, Nigeria’s mission is to create a national culture of pride, patriotism and belief in the brave people who make up the armed forces; this ‘Back to School Drive’ will do just that. It will ensure they are not disadvantaged as a result of a loss.
Needed items include: Book bags, pens, pencils, graphic calculators,paper, notebooks, tissues, paper towels, hand sanitizer, crayons,colored pencils, flash drives, laptops, glue sticks, scissors, ballpoint pens, pencils, coloured pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, water-based markers, glue, highlighters, spiral-bound or composition notebooks, three-ring binder, loose-leaf notebook paper, pocket folders, printer paper, ink cartridges (for your home computer), printers, iPads, laptops, Pc computers, rulers etc.
There are several ways to support the Support Our Troops Foundation ‘Back to School Drive’:
- Sponsor the Back to School Drive.
- Offer discounts on merchandise or services.
- Donate products/services to the drive.
- Provide media partnerships.
- Provide scholarships for children of wounded and fallen troops.
- Provide volunteer support.
